Hilal Technology is leveraging its four-decade partnership with Dell Technologies to help businesses in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and the wider Gulf region navigate the complexities of artificial intelligence (AI) adoption and build the infrastructure needed for their digital transformation.
As organisations explore AI-driven solutions to improve productivity and business performance, Hilal Technology believes its combination of local market knowledge, technical expertise and access to Dell’s global technology capabilities places it in a strong position to support customers through this transition, said Hilal Technology Executive Director Jubran Abdulrahman.
He was speaking to Tech Arabia on the sidelines of the conference ‘Powering AI, Data and Resilient IT’, organised by Hilal Technology and Dell Technologies. The event brought together senior IT leaders and decision makers from across Bahrain and Saudi Arabia to explore the latest developments in AI, data management and resilient IT infrastructure.
The company’s approach as a Dell Technologies Titanium Partner centres on understanding each customer’s requirements and delivering solutions tailored to their existing infrastructure and business objectives, said Abdulrahman.
Speaking about the partnership, he said the relationship had evolved considerably over almost 40 years, helping the company expand its operations locally and regionally.

Dell’s technical expertise and knowledge-sharing have played an important role in strengthening Hilal Technology’s ability to serve its customers, while the two companies have worked together to overcome challenges as technology and market requirements have evolved.
He identified AI integration as one of the most significant technology challenges currently facing organisations in the region.
While businesses recognise the opportunities presented by AI, many must first address fundamental questions about their technological readiness. These include whether their existing IT infrastructure can support AI applications, whether their data is sufficiently secure and reliable, and how new technologies can be integrated into established business systems.
“A lot of the companies that we deal with need to ask themselves: Is their infrastructure ready to adopt AI technology? Is their data secure and reliable?”
For organisations operating with fragmented or unstructured IT infrastructure, the transition can be particularly challenging, making an assessment of their existing systems an essential starting point. Hilal Technology aims to address these concerns by working alongside Dell to evaluate customers’ requirements, identify infrastructure gaps and recommend appropriate solutions.
“One of the biggest hurdles companies face is having the right system integrator who can give them the solutions they actually need,” he said.
The company’s customer-focused approach, he added, is underpinned by the complementary strengths of the two partners. While Dell brings global technology expertise and innovation, Hilal Technology contributes its understanding of the local business environment, customer expectations and regional market requirements.
