Qualcomm has introduced two new flagship mobile SoCs, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 and Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6, aimed at premium smartphones with enhanced on-device AI, gaming, imaging and connectivity capabilities.

Both platforms are built on a 2nm process and feature Qualcomm’s Oryon CPU, Adreno GPU and Hexagon NPU. The Extreme Gen 6 adds Adreno Neural Fusion for AI-powered graphics, while camera capabilities include Advanced Professional Video and Intelligent Pixel Control.

The two new flagship mobile platforms deliver agentic AI experiences that are immediate, personal, and adaptive.

The new platforms are set to appear in flagship smartphones from major brands including Honor, iQOO, Motorola, OnePlus, OPPO, REDMI, vivo, Xiaomi and ZTE.
