Technology company Robo.ai has appointed Dr Ahmed Naser Al-Raisi, former President of Interpol, as Chairman of its proposed subsidiary, Alif Holding, an Abu Dhabi-headquartered intelligent industrial technology group. 

The appointment comes as the company prepares to develop AI-driven technologies for government and critical infrastructure applications in the UAE and wider GCC. Alif Holding will operate across software and intelligent equipment, covering energy, ports, utilities, transportation and smart-city infrastructure.

Dr Al-Raisi brings extensive experience in international security and public-sector digital transformation to the role.
