Abu Dhabi-based Core42 and the Technology Innovation Institute (TII) have signed a strategic agreement to develop and evaluate UAE-built cybersecurity and digital sovereignty technologies.

Announced at GISEC Global 2026 in Abu Dhabi, the partnership will combine Core42’s sovereign-enabled cloud and Compass AI platform with TII’s cybersecurity research capabilities.

The two organisations will work on the co-development, evaluation and deployment of security technologies designed for sovereign cloud and AI environments.

The scope includes hardware security modules, confidential computing, encrypted AI inferencing, secure key management and distribution, data protection, encryption and trusted computing.
