Gulf Business Machines (GBM), IBM and IDC have partnered to help UAE enterprises move agentic AI from experimentation into secure, production environments.

The partnership combines GBM’s regional technology and infrastructure capabilities, IBM’s AI and enterprise technology portfolio, and IDC’s research and market expertise to address some of the practical challenges around enterprise AI adoption.

The three firms recently hosted an exclusive executive conference titled “The Agentic Enterprise: Closing the Gap Between AI Ambition and AI Operations” in Dubai, where experts addressed the operational hurdles of moving from AI pilot projects to governed, autonomous scale.

Dr Feras Al Jabi, General Manager, Technology at GBM, said: “For the region’s enterprises to innovate, they need more than raw compute power alone; secure, localised infrastructure that respects regional compliance and business culture is vital.”
