Lenovo has appointed Dr Rabeah Alzaidy to lead its research and development (R&D) activities in Saudi Arabia, as the company expands its investment in artificial intelligence, local talent and innovation capabilities in the Kingdom. The appointment is part of Lenovo’s broader expansion in Saudi Arabia, where the company is increasing its presence across manufacturing, talent development and technology innovation in support of the country’s Vision 2030 objectives.

Dr Alzaidy brings more than 15 years of experience in AI and technology. Lenovo said her experience across academia, government and industry will support efforts to build stronger links between research and commercial technology development in Saudi Arabia.
